Data Scientist (AI/ML/MLOps/VertexAI)

Exusia is seeking a Data Scientist (AI/ML/MLOps/VertexAI) to join its global delivery team in India. This role focuses on delivering advanced analytics and machine learning solutions to clients, contributing to competency development, and driving innovation. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Mining, Business Intelligence, and Machine Learning, working with business stakeholders to identify problems and provide data-driven insights.

Must Have

• Work on client projects to deliver Data insights using AI, ML and Advanced analytics techniques
• Architect, Build & Deploy scalable Machine Learning models both on premise & on cloud platforms
• Work with business stakeholders to Identify problem statement, check availability of data and identify appropriate solutions
• Work closely with data engineering teams to source and ingest data into data lakes
• Look at semi structured and unstructured data and propose solutions to translate them into structured data format
• Collaborate with S & D leadership to propose and execute ML POCs
• Provide mentorship to junior resources within the data scientist community
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI technologies, frameworks, and cloud services
• Design AI solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing enterprise systems
• Architect advanced solutions leveraging large language models, chatbot frameworks, and Agentic AI patterns
• Define and enforce API architecture standards
• Define robust GCP architectures for deploying AI models and applications
• Establish comprehensive MLOps and AgentOps strategies
• Develop and implement AI evaluation frameworks

Good to Have

• Exposure to Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platforms with hands on exposure to ML service offerings
• Experience working with teams located in multiple locations across the globe
• Architectural expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with services including CloudRun/GKE, BigQuery, CloudSQL, GCS and cloud composer
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and real-time data processing architectures
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform
• Strong experience designing and implementing end-to-end MLOps and AgentOps pipelines and strategies

Requirements

Mandatory Skills:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement. Mentor and guide junior architects and engineers.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI technologies, frameworks, and cloud services (e.g., Google VertexAI, Gemini Model, Dialogflow CX, ADK, LangGraph, GCP services) to optimize solution performance, cost, and maintainability.
• Design AI solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing enterprise systems, data sources, and business processes, ensuring data integrity and security.
• LLM, Chatbot, Agentic AI Architectures: Architect advanced solutions leveraging large language models (Gemini Model), chatbot frameworks, MCP, and Agentic AI patterns, including orchestration with LangGraphand ADK , for complex problem-solving and autonomous systems.
• API Architecture & Design: Define and enforce API architecture standards, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure integration points for AI services within the broader enterprise ecosystem.
• GCP Deployment & MLOps/AgentOps Architecture: Define robust GCP architectures for deploying AI models and applications, including CloudRun/GKE, BigQuery, CloudSQL, DataFlow, and DataProc. Establish comprehensive MLOps and AgentOps strategies for continuous integration, delivery, monitoring, and governance of AI solutions.
• Develop and implement AI evaluation frameworks to measure the performance, fairness, and reliability of AI models and systems.
