Job Description

The Brand Champion - Dell is responsible for driving partner information throughout the sales team and achieving revenue and margin goals for the designated partner. Responsibilities include tracking pipelines, recommending configurations, conducting training, and managing sales revenue and growth. The role involves staying updated on partner programs and assisting sales teams in closing deals. This role is an on-site presence within Zones and acts as an extension of partner representatives, ensuring that the sales team is well-informed about Dell products, programs, and distribution programs.
Must have:
  • 1+ years of product/services sales experience, preferably in tech.
  • BA/BS degree or 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Execute Product and Program Training
  • Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Good to have:
  • IT Industry certifications a plus

Position Overview:
 
The Brand Championis the Partnerson-site presence within Zones. As an extension of the partner representatives, the Brand Champion remains up to date on allpartnerproducts, all partner programs, distribution programs and Zones programs that are applicable to the partner that can assist Zones sales teams in closing business. The Brand Champion is responsible for achieving revenue and margin goals for designated partner/assigned product lines. 
 
What you’ll do as the  Brand Champion - Dell:

  • Develop reactive and proactive efforts in driving the partner’s information throughout the sales team.
  • Track pipeline, deal registration, and open quotes with a primary focus on assisting in closing opportunities.   
  • Recommend optimal configurations for the customer’s environment in a timely and effective manner. Interaction with Sales teams and customers is primarily via the telephone, CRM, or face-to-face during training activities.
  • Remain up to date on all applicable products, all partner programs, distribution programs and Zones programs.
  • Conduct training, in multiple formats and venues, to ensure that AE’s and other support departments are educated on partner’s products, processes, and programs.
  • Within your brand, be responsible for:
Sales Revenue/Growth
Gross Margin/Growth
Number of Account Executives selling the Brand
Number of End-user customers buying the Brand
Number of deals registered/closed
CRM opportunities assigned
 
What you bring:
 
  • 1+ years of experience in a product or services sales position, ideally with a focus on technology products 
  • BA/BS degree or 2+ years of relevant experience    
  • Must have good organizational and time management skills 
  • Execute Product and Program Training 
  • Good interpersonal skills; excellent oral and written communication skills and strong selling skills 
  • Ability to develop proficiency in general IT terminology 
  • Must have a good working knowledge of MS Productivity Suite 
  • Conducts business professionally in a corporate environment and anytime representing Zones 
  • IT Industry certifications a plus 
 
Qualified candidates can expect an hourly range of $21.00 - $27.00, this role is bonus eligible
