Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Brand Marketing Manager to own the marketing charter for one of our key business verticals. As the voice of the consumer, you will champion our brand and business objectives, translating deep business context into sharply focused marketing strategies and executing them with excellence.
This is a high-impact role that requires first-principles thinking, a strong creative flair, and the ability to manage complex projects and stakeholders. Reporting to a senior marketing leader, you will work cross-functionally with teams across Product, Business, Analytics, Tech, and more to drive measurable growth and build a beloved brand. Success in this role demands a high degree of accountability, strategic clarity, and a passion for execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Acumen & Strategy: Drive growth for your assigned business vertical through an integrated marketing approach. This requires deep category and business understanding, diving into annual plans, and translating business data into actionable marketing strategies.
- End-to-End Campaign Management: Define marketing objectives and translate them into clear communication, media, and research plans. Drive execution excellence by proactively planning campaigns, managing partners, and ensuring high-quality output on time and within budget.
- Integrated Media Planning: Leverage your understanding of all media channels—including traditional (TV, Print), digital (Paid, Owned, Earned), CRM, and in-app merchandising—to define clear problem statements and measure impact effectively.
- Consumer Insights & Research: Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights that power strategy, creative development, media planning, and impact measurement. Prior experience with Brand Tracks, U&A studies, and other key research methodologies is mandatory.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage, influence, and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders. Navigate the system to seek clarity, drive decision-making, and negotiate effectively to achieve marketing goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education & Experience: An MBA from a Tier-1 college with 5-7 years of holistic brand marketing experience, ideally with a mix of top-tier FMCG and high-growth internet/tech companies.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking: A strategic, first-principles thinker with a strong analytical bent of mind. Comfortable translating disparate business, media, and research data into sharp, actionable insights.
- Execution & Ownership: A high degree of ownership and accountability, with a bias for action and a proven track record of operational and program management excellence.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent relationship management skills; the ability to influence decision-making, manage ambiguity, and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Marketing Craft: Deep understanding of the full marketing mix, with proven ability to write inspiring and effective briefs for creative, media, and research agencies.
- Agency Management: Demonstrable experience in managing a roster of top-tier creative, research, and media agency partners to deliver outstanding work.
- Resilience & Agility: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and can adapt ways of working to achieve results.
