The Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our Facilities Management team
As our maintenance engineer, you will play a critical role in the building's continuous operations.
Ensure the timely completion of planned maintenance tasks to maintain compliance and manage all associated documentation
Responsibilities include performing routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and Building Management Systems (BMS) to identify and address potential issues proactively. The candidate will collaborate with the Facilities Management team to optimize maintenance processes, ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, and liaise with external contractors to ensure work standards are met. Additionally, the role involves providing technical support, undertaking risk assessments, and having knowledge of emergency procedures.
Execute all planned maintenance tasks on schedule, ensuring all activities comply with company standards and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate records of all compliance tasks, ensuring documentation is completed thoroughly and promptly ready for audit
Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance requests promptly, utilizing the CAFM system to manage and track tasks
Ensure legal compliance requirements for building maintenance.
Desirable Experience
Relevant qualification in plumbing, electrical, or mechanical engineering
Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role
Strong knowledge of planned maintenance procedures and compliance requirements
We are seeking a candidate with strong organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills. A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a commitment to continuous improvement, is essential. Candidates should have a good understanding of Health and Safety (H&S) protocols and be able to read drawings and O&M manuals. Knowledge of lighting control systems is desirable.
