The Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the continuous growth of the Philips Avent brand, achieving annual operating plan targets, and maximizing the category's business potential. The role involves portfolio and launch management, identifying new product opportunities and portfolio gaps, and sharing insights. It also includes content and campaign execution, localizing global content and ensuring seamless execution of marketing campaigns. Activation and visibility are key, driving in-store and online visibility through activations and consumer engagement. Strategic planning involves developing activation and sales plans and managing budgets. The role also defines and implements the 4P strategy and co-creates presentations. Candidates should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills and analytical expertise.
Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing or related field.
  • Experience in Marketing/Trade/Shopper Marketing or similar role.
  • Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration and idea presentation.
  • Strong negotiation skills to drive favorable outcomes.
  • Analytical expertise in leveraging data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Fluent in English for efficient communication in an international context.
  • Fluent in Czech or Slovak to ensure seamless interaction within local markets.

Job Description

    Business Development Manager plays a key role in ensuring continuous growth for the Philips Avent brand (#1 brand in CZ&SK), achieving annual operating plan (AOP) targets, and maximizing the category's business potential

     

    Your role includes:

    Portfolio & Launch Management

    • Identify opportunities for new product launches, portfolio gaps, and phase-outs; share insights with regional marketing.

    Content & Campaign Execution

    • Localize global content, create local assets, and ensure seamless execution of ATL, BTL, and digital campaigns.

    Activation & Visibility

    • Drive in-store and online visibility through activations, POSM delivery, and consumer engagement projects.

    Strategic Planning & Budgeting

    • Develop activation and sales plans with KAMs and strategic distributor; manage A&P budgets and evaluate ROI.

    Commercial Strategy

    • Define and implement the 4P strategy per Channel/Account; co-create concept-sell presentations for key launches.

     

    You are the right fit if you have:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, business, or a related field.

    • Experience: in Marketing/Trade Shopper Marketing or similar role.

    • Skills:

    • Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration and idea presentation.

    • Strong negotiation skills to drive favorable outcomes.

    • Analytical expertise in leveraging data to inform strategic decisions.

    • Language Proficiency:

    • Fluent in English for efficient communication in an international context.

    • Fluent in  Czech or Slovak to ensure seamless interaction within local markets.
