Job Description

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Glean, you will generate new business leads to fuel the sales pipeline, collaborating with other BDRs and Account Executives (AEs). You will drive meetings through targeted campaigns using email, social media, and prospecting technologies. You will create and prioritize strategic target account lists and build new and existing accounts through research and data maintenance. The role also involves optimizing the Sales Development tech stack and working in a fast-paced team environment. Must have 3 years of BDR experience, preferably in a SaaS company.
Must have:
  • Minimum 3 years of BDR experience, preferably in SaaS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with prospecting tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Proficient in cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Highly motivated and self-starting with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Understanding of business requirements and organizational structure.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Track record of success in a metrics-driven role.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.

What you will do and achieve:

  • Generate new business leads to fuel the sales pipeline and collaborate with other BDRs and AEs
  • Drive net new business meetings by creating and executing targeted campaigns leveraging email, social media, and other emerging prospecting technologies  
  • Help create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory
  • Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e.: account research, adding contacts, emails)
  • Data clean-up and maintenance (list building, list enrichment, process optimization for Sales Dev tech stack)

Minimum REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as BDR preferably in a SaaS company
  • APAC market experience preferred.  
    Work Timing : 8 am IST to 5 pm IST (APAC Timings)
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with prospecting tools like Linkedin Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, LeadIQ etc 
  • Proficient in cold calling, emailing and LinkedIn outreach campaigns
  • Highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Ability to understand business requirements and organizational structure
  • Excellent time management/organizational skills
  • Track record of success in a performance and metrics driven role
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Basic knowledge of workplace SaaS software a plus
