Job Description

TransUnion is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join their growing team. The role involves feeding requirements to the Business Intelligence development team for data warehousing, developing reports and dashboards to automate reporting and provide data-driven insights, and presenting organizational metrics and KPIs. The analyst will also participate in quality assurance, peer review colleagues' work, help migrate data visualization applications, and adhere to department procedures and Agile development processes. This is a hybrid position requiring regular work both virtually and in-person at a TransUnion office at least two days a week.
Must have:
  • Experience in designing and developing Dashboards / MIS / Reports
  • Experience integrating dashboards with Databases
  • Firsthand experience with Tableau
  • Degree level or equivalent business experience
  • At least 1 year of information technology experience
  • At least 1 year of experience using data visualization tools (CRMA, Power BI)
  • Testing experience
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of Data Warehouse technologies
  • SQL
  • Alteryx
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Modern development practices (Agile, source control, coding standards)

What You'll Bring:

We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing team.

Day to Day You’ll Be:

  • Feeding requirements to the Business Intelligence development team so that the data warehouse contains the data needed to support the Business.
  • Develop reports and dashboards that reduce the need of manual reporting and automate key functions.
  • Use the data warehouse to bring data-driven insight into TU UK decision making.
  • Present regular updates on key organizational metrics and KPIs
  • Participate in quality assurance to ensure products are fit for purpose.
  • Peer reviews the work of colleagues.
  • Help migrate users’ homegrown data visualization applications to enterprise standard.
  • Adhere to department procedures and practices, including coding standards, build processes, source control and Agile development process.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in designing and developing Dashboards / MIS / Reports
  • Experience in integrating the dashboard with Databases.
  • Firsthand Experience with Tableau is must.
  • Degree level or equivalent business experience
  • Must have at least 1-year total information technology experience
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience using data visualization tools (CRMA, Power BI)
  • Testing experience is required

Desirable Skills & Experience:
