Must have:
  • Design and engineer industrial burners and C&I systems.
  • Prepare C&I documentation: Instrument Index, P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams.
  • Ensure compliance with API, NFPA, and ISA standards.
  • Manage C&I project aspects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with global teams, vendors, and contractors for timely delivery.
  • Conduct SAT/FAT of PLC systems and assist commissioning teams.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  • Participate in virtual meetings and travel for site visits as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Engineering:
  • -Hands-on experience of all types of Industrial Burners like Oil, Gas, Combination, Duct burners, Radiant Wall etc., ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Good knowledge of all type of Boilers operation including associated ancillaries for WHRB, HRSG.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary Teams to integrate C&I systems with overall plant operations.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
  • Prepare Instrument Index, Line lists, specifications, datasheets, loop diagrams, logic diagrams, wiring diagrams, hook up drawings, cable schedules, cable tray routing, area lighting, Panel / JB drawings, fuel skids, electrical tracing and IOMs for control systems and instrumentation.
  • Sizing & selection of Ex-proof, Intrinsically Safe instruments suited for Hazardous Areas.
  • Conduct / Participate in KOM, FAT, Design Review Meetings, 3-D Model review, HAZOPs, HAZIDS, SIL
  • Studies with customers and other stake holders to identify and mitigate risks associated with combustion processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regional statutory and regulatory requirements to standards such as API, NFPA, and ISA.
  • Create detailed P&IDs, Cause & Effect diagrams, and control narratives to accurately represent control narratives and logic. Preparation and implementation in DCS, SCADA, BMS, ESD PLC system.
  • Create specifications, data sheets for all types of field instruments like FCV, PRV, PT, FT, TT, ROs, Analyzers, Shutoff valves, Dampers, flame scanners, CEMS systems etc.
  • Project Management:
  • Manage C&I aspects of projects including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Interact with Zeeco’s Global locations across various time zones for weekly/ Daily work progress, review.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to procure necessary equipment and services, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Commissioning and Testing:
  • Conduct SAT / FAT of PLC Systems, Panels and assist Commissioning Teams for smooth integration and startup of control systems.
  • Assist in conducting PGTR to validate contractual requirements and guarantees of equipment supplied.
  • Training and Support:
  • Technical guidance and mentoring of coworkers for skill development and knowledge transfer.
  • Impart subject matter expertise for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Remote Work and Collaboration:
  • Participate in virtual meetings across different time zones to facilitate project discussions and decision-making processes.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits and project meetings, as required.
