Job Description
The Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives team at Apple focuses on applying innovation to social and environmental values, including Environment, Accessibility, Education policy, and Racial Equity & Justice. The Carbon Removal Program Manager will lead the development and implementation of projects and partnerships aimed at removing unavoidable emissions from Apple's scope 1 and 3 footprint, crucial for achieving the 2030 goal. This role involves assessing environmental and social impacts, engaging with finance, tax, legal, and operational teams globally to execute complex transactions. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to Apple's commitment to environmental sustainability.

As the Carbon Removal Program Manager on Apple's Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives team, you will work on the team driving development and implementation of projects and partnerships which remove otherwise unavoidable emissions from Apple’s scope 1 and 3 footprint. You will partner closely with internal teams as well as external partners and vendors to execute on Apple’s carbon removal commitments to meet its 2030 goal. This includes working to assess the environmental and social impacts of project investments as well cross-functional engagement with finance, tax, legal and operational teams to execute on complex transactions globally.
