Job Description
The Card Shuffler attends gaming tables for the card-change procedure, following the company's procedures. They check and shuffle cards in card counting rooms and at gaming tables, adhering to shuffling procedures. The Card Shuffler reports any risks or mistakes to the Pit boss. They also inform the Pit boss to replace cards and monitor their quality. They may assist in training new shufflers. The role requires adherence to Pennsylvania Gaming Commission Regulations and PT Services regulations, as well as departmental policies and procedures.
Must Have:
- Attend gaming tables for card-change procedure.
- Check and shuffle cards in card counting rooms.
- Follow shuffling procedures.
- Report any risks or mistakes to the Pit boss.

- Immediately report to the Pit boss of any risks or committed mistakes, problems and / or unusual activities in the gaming studios and other company’s premises caused by other employees or other causes.
- Inform Pitboss in a timely manner to replace and/or receive new cards or deck of cards for each shift.
- Evaluate and keep track on the quality and visual look of the cards.
- Assist training new shufflers if required by the management.
- Adhere to Pennsylvania Gaming Commission Regulations and PT Services regulations and departmental policies and procedures.
