- Job Title: Client Engineer
- Job Summary: The Client Engineer role at The Pokémon Company International will work on the content and development pipeline for multiple products to ensure rapid and stable development. This role will work across development groups to develop scalable systems that will support the life of our products from pre-production to post launch content. These live products will be maintained post launch through multiple content releases which requires multiple tools and resources and a tight collaboration across disciplines.

What you’ll do
- Design and develop scalable client-side functionality to create and modify features for a live service game
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement gameplay features and content
- Work with the production team to create realistic timelines for complex implementations
- Troubleshoot and solve live issues in a development and a production environment
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of game development experience.
- Proficiency with Unity.
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of Unity UI and front-end systems
- Exceptional work ethic and passion for growth.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and present multiple solutions.
- Ability to context switch and adapt with relative ease.
- Effective communication skills, especially within teams and with technical information.
- Ability to accurately identify and navigate risks through the product planning process.
- Experience working with Perforce/version control, preferred.
- Experience developing gameplay features for a live service product
- BSCS, BSEE, or equivalent years of work experience.
Base Salary Range:
For this role, new hires generally start between $127,850.00 - $152,878.75 per year. The full range is $127,850.00 - $194,000.00 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
