Client Engineer - Small Giant Games

We are now looking for a professional to join our Client Tech Team. In this position your main focus will be working with The Client Tech backlog items, for example game features for Ad Monetisation, SDK integrations, and legal compliance. While at the start the focus is more on the client side, you'll get a chance to work on the full game stack – some of the tools / stack we use include Unity, C#, Scala, MongoDB and AWS.

Please note that we are currently looking for a person who is, or will be, located in Finland. Our preference is a candidate who’s able to work from the office 2-3 days a week.

Main responsibilities:

• Integration and maintenance of 3rd party SDKs
• Participating in the development of our in-house tooling for example for Player & Community Support and Marketing
• In-game integration and development of core player support features
• Depending on your experience, you may also participate in development & maintenance of our build automation tools and processes, including asset pipeline
• Supporting developers and helping solve problems with the live games

We hope you have at least the following qualities:

• Experience in developing with Unity and good skills with C#
• Managing and integrating 3rd party SDK's
• Good understanding of the Unity build pipeline
• Experience with iOS and Android platforms
• A razor sharp mind and the ability to learn new things extremely quickly
• A positive “can-do” attitude

• A long history of programming, either as a hobby or as a professional
• Experience with understanding and debugging existing code
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Interest in games and game development
