Job Description

Join a high-growth presales team at Salesforce in the EMEA SMB MuleSoft team. You will work closely with Account Executives throughout the sales process, evaluating opportunities based on customer technical requirements, competition, and decision-making processes. The role involves establishing trust with clients' IT teams and C-Level executives, showcasing MuleSoft's Integration & Hyper-automation Platform through demos, whiteboards, and presentations. Additionally, you will drive selling at scale by conducting webinars, workshops, and other regional events. Within 3 months, you'll achieve MuleSoft Developer certification, complete SE training, and enhance your problem-solving skills. By 6 months, you'll close deals, collaborate on account strategy, and deliver tailored product presentations and custom demos, supporting marketing through evangelism activities.
Must have:
  • Enterprise software Pre-Sales experience (SMB segment preferred)
  • Build trust and influence key decision-makers
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (iPaaS, SaaS, cloud infrastructure)
  • Passion for technology and translating it to business benefits
  • Lead customer-facing engagements (workshops, webinars)
  • Demo and present technical solutions aligned with customer outcomes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility in working hours
  • Fluency in an additional European language
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of middleware, integration architecture, microservices, APIs, BPM, RPA
  • Proficient in hands-on development, coding, and API design
  • Track record of creating custom demos

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Account Executives across the entire sales process, evaluating sales opportunities by considering customer technical requirements, competition, decision-making processes, and funding

  • Quickly establish trust with the client's IT team and C-Level executives at our potential clients

  • Showcase how MuleSoft's Integration & Hyper-automation Platform can revolutionise IT through demos, whiteboards and presentations

  • Help drive selling at scale by running webinars, workshops and other events across the region

 

What you will achieve:

3 months:

  • Attain MuleSoft Developer certification

  • Successfully complete MuleSoft's SE training program

  • Enhance your architectural problem-solving and whiteboarding skills through shadowing and role-playing customer scenarios

  • Engage with Account Executives and your peers, shadowing customer calls and engagements

6 months:

  • Assemble all the skills of a successful SE by closing deals

  • Collaborate with Account Executives on account planning and strategy

  • Take ownership of technical sales from start to finish for a range of opportunities

  • Deliver product presentations and demos tailored to the client's business outcome, technical requirements and audience

  • Develop and present custom demos based on customer needs or industry trends 

  • Support marketing through evangelism activities such as participating in demo-driven webinars, and speaking at industry events, among others

 

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Prior experience in enterprise software Pre-Sales, ideally in the SMB segment

  • Proficiency in quickly building trust with clients and the ability to influence key decision-makers throughout the sales process

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, including iPaaS, SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure, etc.

  • A passion for technology and the ability to translate that passion into tangible business benefits for customers

  • Proficiency in leading workshops, webinars and other customer-facing engagements

  • Ability to demo and present a technical solution aligned with customer outcomes

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong presentation abilities

  • Willingness to travel as required within the EMEA region and to maintain flexibility regarding working hours 

  • Fluency in an additional European language is essential
     

What could also help you in the role:
