Job Description

The Client Technical Support Manager is responsible for providing technical support for Radars at various client sites in France and abroad. This role involves acquiring necessary product knowledge to identify malfunctions, propose technical solutions, and execute diverse activities. Key responsibilities include preparing interventions by analyzing dysfunctions and planning, performing on-site troubleshooting, regularly informing clients and the Thales project team, conducting specific tests to validate functionality, drafting intervention reports, and offering technical advice and training to client personnel.
Must have:
  • Analyze dysfunctions, provide diagnosis, and contribute to intervention planning.
  • Verify availability of resources and prevention plans.
  • Perform on-site system interventions and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure adherence to maintenance documents and schedules.
  • Draft intervention reports.
  • Provide technical advice to clients.
  • Dispense or participate in client personnel training.
  • Possess a DUT/BTS or engineering degree with significant experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Solid skills in electronics and electricity.
  • Experience in analysis, expertise, and maintenance on systems.
  • Writing skills for intervention and expertise reports.
  • Knowledge of mechatronics (electronics/electrotechnics/mechanics).
  • Willingness to travel in France and abroad.

Your daily life

Located near Orléans, the site is a reference in supporting weapon systems and radars worldwide. It houses engineering, development, and integration activities for air defense systems.

The Client Technical Support Manager is responsible for the technical support of Radars at various client sites in France or abroad.

Your technical and maintenance skills allow you to acquire the necessary Product knowledge to identify malfunctions, propose technical solutions, and carry out the following activities:

Prepare interventions:

  • Analyze malfunctions, provide a diagnosis, and contribute to setting up the intervention plan in your area;
  • Check the availability of resources and prevention plans.

Perform interventions on client site:

  • Take charge of all or part of the client's system;
  • Carry out planned troubleshooting interventions in accordance with maintenance documents, ensuring adherence to the planned schedule;
  • Regularly inform the client and the Thales project team of the progress of work;
  • Perform specific tests to validate proper functioning;
  • Write the intervention report;
  • Provide technical advice to clients;
  • Finally, you may be required to provide or participate in client personnel training.

Your profile

You have a DUT/BTS or engineering degree with significant experience in industrial maintenance with solid skills in electronics and electricity.

You have experience in analysis, expertise, and maintenance on systems with travel to client sites.

You have writing skills for intervention reports and expertise reports.

You have knowledge of mechatronics (electronics/electrotechnics/mechanics).

You are recognized for your sense of contact and service.

The position is based in Fleury les Aubrais (near Orléans 45) with travel in France and abroad.
