We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Architect with experience of Multi-Cloud and Hybrid-Cloud to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing and building multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud infrastructure solutions to support our organization's growing needs across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring interoperability and seamless integration.
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture artefacts and technical documentation related to these solutions and environments.
- Collaborate with or work within cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into appropriate cloud-native or traditional solutions that enable the right balance of performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Lead and support migration of systems to or between private and public cloud environments, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal downtime.
- Evolve the architecture of existing public or private cloud deployments to ensure they continue to meet performance, scalability, and resilience targets, leveraging industry best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud features, services, and industry trends across AWS, Azure, and GCP, highlighting opportunities to improve or extend our cloud strategy.
- Mentor and guide junior team members on hybrid and multi-cloud architecture, best practices.
- Provide technical advice and assistance to management and sales to support business development as necessary.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience designing and building hybrid or multi-cloud environments, including at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience working with cloud and traditional networking, security, identity management, and other core infrastructure technologies.
- Hands-on experience in migrating on-premise systems to cloud-based solutions.
- Awareness of containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, and of vendor-specific PaaS offerings.
- Candidates with Architect-level certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP are preferred. Certifications in private cloud/traditional virtualization technologies are also desirable (e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
