What a College Intern - Business Operations does at HP:
- Studies business data; gathers information, and evaluates opportunities.
- Understand and able to analyze data.
- Able to map data into insights.
- Improves process by studying current practices.
- Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports with recommendation actions.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:
- University or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Able to communicate and work with country sales managers of identified opportunities, and overcome objections from countries.
- Partners effectively with other stakeholders to ensure coordinated, efficient process management.
- Analytical and communication knowledge.
- Able to develop positive relationships and solving problems.
- Basic understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and channels.
- Basic understanding of HP's organization & operations, including key business rules, partner segmentation, key programs & initiatives.
- Basic understanding of a specific set of HP's products, software, and services
- Able to commit for 3-6 months for a full-time internship, starting in Jan 2025
