HP Industrial Print Customer Success (IPCS) offers integrated services for predictable printing operations and optimized costs. The HP EMEA Industrial Print Training Academy provides technical training to customer operators on HP Industrial Print digital presses, covering operational guidance to advanced topics. This role involves delivering training, assisting with production support, installations, troubleshooting, and maintaining the training center environment.

  • Highly skilled and experienced in understanding technical aspects at the system level.
  • Capable of working independently and autonomously.
  • Strong communication, problem analysis, and presentation skills.
  • Able to communicate clearly in writing (reports) and verbally.
  • High level of English (spoken, reading, and writing).

HP Industrial Print Customer Success (IPCS) offers an integrated portfolio of services that enables predictable printing operations and an optimized cost structure. It allows our customers to maximize press uptime, increase productivity, and grow their business.

The HP EMEA Industrial Print Training Academy is part of this organization, and our goal is to accelerate customer understanding in a professional environment through hands-on learning, including hardware, digital front-end, and specialized courses. Our team provides both training and ramp-up/production support—key roles to help customers start production and maximize their HP Indigo digital presses. We also train our own customer engineers, application engineers, and remote support engineers.

Our team has the learning, presentation, and technical skills to understand, explain, convey, and verify knowledge about complex HP Industrial Print products and the digital production cycle, including prepress, workflow, finishing, etc.

In today’s environment, we continuously adapt to deliver our services under all circumstances, including remotely, using innovative tools.

The person in this position is part of HP’s technical training team in the Industrial Print area. Their main role is to deliver technical training to customer operators on the use of HP Industrial Print digital presses. These training sessions span different levels of complexity depending on the audience and objectives, ranging from basic operational guidance to advanced or specialized topics related to the printing platform.

In addition to delivering training, they occasionally assist with production support tasks, equipment installations, and troubleshooting technical issues. They also participate in maintaining the training center environment, ensuring that the equipment is operational and ready for training sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical training to customer operators on the assigned platform.
  • Collaborate with trusted partners (GBU, GTM, or Service) to develop engaging content suitable for various delivery methods (face-to-face, webinar, self-paced learning, or mobile).
  • Maintain the training center environment to a production standard using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Undertake periodic production support, installations, and troubleshooting cases.
  • Contribute to and participate in improvement programs and projects.
  • Ability to mentor and coach team members
  • Engage in technical forums and professional communities, contributing to and leveraging shared knowledge.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (project management, consulting, support, and product development) to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Support technical scoping and documentation of client requirements, KPIs, and functional/technical needs.
  • Contribute to research, data analysis, and knowledge sharing to support a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work independently on moderately complex problems, applying professional expertise and judgment within company policies.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in implementation consultancy, customer support, focused technology areas, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
