We are looking for a customer-centric and automation-focused Commercial Marketing Manager to lead the design, development, and optimization of customer lifecycle journeys. This high-impact leadership role involves owning the automation roadmap and delivering data-driven marketing programs to maximize customer engagement, retention, and value. You will work closely with Marketing, Analytics, Product, and CRM Delivery teams to ensure journeys are triggered, personalized, and continuously optimized against key lifestage performance indicators. Responsibilities include designing the end-to-end customer lifecycle strategy, developing automated journeys, building an automation roadmap, using customer insights, leading test-and-learn initiatives, monitoring journey performance, driving segmentation, and coaching a team.
Must have:
  • Experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or commercial marketing

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a customer centric and automation-focused Commercial Marketing Manager to lead the design, development, and optimisation of our customer lifecycle journeys. Reporting into the Senior Commercial Marketing Team Manager, you’ll own the automation roadmap and be responsible for delivering data-driven, always-on marketing programmes that maximise customer engagement, retention, and value over time.


This is a high-impact leadership role with the opportunity to shape our strategy across key customer lifecycles. You'll work closely with Marketing, Analytics, Product, and CRM Delivery teams to ensure journeys are triggered, personalised, and continuously optimised against key lifestage performance indicators.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

● Designing and owning the end-to-end customer lifecycle strategy, from early-life activation to winback.

● Developing and optimising automated Marketing journeys based on customer behaviour, value segments, and lifecycle stage.

● Building and maintaining a clear automation roadmap aligned to commercial priorities and customer needs.

● Using customer insight and analytics to identify gaps and opportunities in lifecycle coverage, and feeding these into new journey development.

● Leading test-and-learn initiatives to improve journey performance, with a clear framework for experimentation and evaluation.

● Monitoring journey performance, reporting on key lifecycle KPIs (e.g. Retention & Reactivation Rates, ARPU, NGR etc) ensuring continual improvement and optimisation.

● Driving segmentation and targeting strategies to maximise campaign cut-through and impact.

● Leading regular campaign performance reviews and continuously optimising based on

● data, insight, and commercial outcomes.

● Coaching, mentoring and developing a growing team of commercial Leads & Specialists.

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

● Experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or commercial marketing, ideally in gaming, fintech, or e-commerce

● Experience of setting strategy within a fast-moving, high growth environment

● Deep understanding of the various customer lifestage behavior, value growth levers, and customer retention strategies with a test-and-learn mindset

● A strong grasp of customer segmentation, lifecycle journey mapping, and campaign planning

● Demonstrable experience of working with large data sets to identify commercial opportunities and create ongoing strategies

● A problem-solving mindset with the ability to turn insight into action quickly and efficiently

● Experience leading cross-functional campaign development and working with Product, CRM, and Analytics

● High level of commercial acumen with strong awareness of ROI, cost control, and promotional efficiency

● Proven team management experience with the ability to coach, motivate, and manage performance
