Job Description

The sales team is expanding, and we are looking for a Commercial Sales Representative to cover the Greater Montreal Area, including the North Shore and occasional travel to the Laurentians and Quebec City. This role involves developing client relationships in industrial, commercial, and institutional landscaping projects, maintaining strong business ties with partners, and identifying growth opportunities. The representative will qualify leads, achieve sales targets, advise professionals on product choices, and manage the sales cycle from submission to closing.
Must Have:
  • Qualify opportunities generated by marketing, trade shows, face-to-face contacts, and advertising.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales objectives.
  • Manage and work with a clientele of commercial landscape contractors.
  • Advise and consult professionals (Landscape Architects, Architects, Engineers, etc.) on product selection while providing appropriate technical support.
  • Work with the sales team to secure/close commercial sales.
  • Use project software to stay updated on new upcoming opportunities and projects currently underway by competitors.
  • Host "lunch and learn" sessions and develop brand awareness.
  • Identify, nurture, and close specification opportunities using the CRM pipeline.
  • Submit proposals for all opportunities and ensure close follow-ups on identified projects throughout the sales cycle.
  • Bachelor's degree in administration or any other related field (relevant experience may be considered).
  • Bilingualism (English and French).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales.
  • Experience working with engineering and architectural firms, municipalities, real estate developers, etc.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage a complete and rigorous process.
  • Ability to work in a team and build interpersonal relationships.
  • Autonomy, proactivity, organization, and problem-solving.
  • Good command of IT tools (Microsoft Office suite) and customer relationship management (CRM).
  • Valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
  • Availability to travel 40-60% of the time within the assigned territory and to headquarters.

The sales team is expanding, and we are looking for a Commercial Sales Representative to cover the following territory: Montreal, North Shore, and occasional travel to the Laurentians and Quebec City.

The specification division is supported by in-house marketing, design architects, and R&D engineers capable of customizing samples, presentations, marketing channels, and even custom materials. We believe in industry-specific training for our representatives to create reliable and confident resources for their clients. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the primary role of the Commercial Sales and Specification Representative for Quebec is to continue developing clients in the industrial, commercial, and institutional landscaping project sector. The candidate must maintain strong business relationships with all commercial partners. They will be on the lookout for growth opportunities in their assigned territory and offer clients products that meet their needs.
