Sporty is seeking a skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their HR team in Madrid, Spain. This role involves supporting local business requirements by managing pipeline growth and the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for Media, Marketing, and Local Operations roles. The specialist will own recruitment pipelines, search and attract top talent, manage the hiring process from sourcing to offer negotiation, and ensure a high-quality candidate experience. Responsibilities also include maintaining the Applicant Tracking System, crafting job descriptions, partnering with universities for internships, and collaborating with the People Operations team. The position offers an opportunity to impact the business, develop HR expertise, and define a career path within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Must have:
  • 2+ years recruitment experience
  • Hiring commercial roles (Media/Marketing)
  • Pitching and closing KPI targeted roles
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment
  • Experience balancing inbound/outbound pipelines
  • Outstanding English and Spanish skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Based in Madrid, Spain

We are seeking a skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing HR team in Madrid, Spain. Working alongside the International Talent Acquisition team and local People Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting local business requirements while managing pipeline growth and the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for roles across Media, Marketing and Local Operations.

Responsibilities

    • Take full ownership of your recruitment pipelines, ensuring high-quality delivery and relationship management
    • Search, identify, attract, and engage top-tier talent for specific roles
    • Manage the entire hiring process, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and closing
    • Showcase strong pitching and closing skills to secure top candidates as well as supporting the standardisation of international processes
    • Maintain accurate and efficient records in the Applicant Tracking System
    • Craft and post compelling job descriptions on internal job boards, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
    • Work closely with local universities to introduce interns on a contractual basis based on the content calendar of the studio team in Madrid 
    • Deliver a world-class experience for all candidates, ensuring professionalism and engagement throughout
    • Partner with the People Operations team for seamless offer handovers and to provide additional support if required

Requirements

    • 2+ years recruitment experience hiring Commercial roles with a strong preference on Media and - Marketing positions
    • Relevant industry experience within Media / Broadcasting Studios or Television is preferred
    • Experience supporting People and HR responsibilities is preferred but not essential
    • Demonstrable experience in pitching and closing KPI targeted roles
    • Experienced managing end to end recruitment life cycles from qualification to close
    • Diverse experience across commercial hiring
    • Experience balancing both inbound and outbound pipelines
    • Exposure to Senior and C-Level stakeholders
    • Experience managing competitive timelines in a fast paced environment
    • Experience sourcing via LinkedIn, local job boards and universities is desirable
    • Outstanding written and verbal skills in English and Spanish
    • Operating to high performance principles (80:20)
    • Ability to work independently is essential
    • Based in Madrid, Spain, and commute to the office 3 days per week

Interview Process:
30 min Aptitude Test 
Remote video screening with our Talent Acquisition Team 
Remote 90 min video interview loop with 3 x Team Members (30 mins each)
24-72 hour feedback loops throughout process
