Job Description

The Compliance Governance Manager will join the central Compliance department, coordinating across Regulatory Compliance, Technical Compliance, and Data Privacy teams. The role supports the implementation and improvement of governance frameworks. Responsibilities include governance coordination, risk and oversight support, training and awareness, cross-functional collaboration, and operational support. The candidate must have experience in compliance, governance, or risk-related roles, particularly within the online gaming industry, with a focus on areas such as AML, Responsible Gaming, and Data Privacy. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that Compliance Governance is effectively embedded within the department and contributes to supporting the wider business in a structured and sustainable way.
Must have:
  • Experience in compliance or risk roles within online gaming.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate.
  • Excellent command of English (verbal and written).
Good to have:
  • Proficiency in other major European languages.
  • Experience with policy lifecycle management and regulatory reporting.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and risk management & governance platforms.

Job Details

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Compliance Governance Manager to join our central Compliance department.

This role operates as a dedicated function within the Compliance department, coordinating horizontally across its core teams - Regulatory Compliance, Technical Compliance, and Data Privacy. It supports the implementation and ongoing improvement of governance frameworks across the Group.

By aligning efforts across these teams and engaging with internal and external stakeholders, the role helps ensure that Compliance Governance is effectively embedded within the department and contributes to supporting the wider business in a structured and sustainable way.

What You’ll Do

Governance Coordination
• Support the development and maintenance of internal governance structures across markets and functions.
• Coordinate review and update cycles for governance frameworks, ensuring clarity of ownership and timely execution.
• Promote consistency in how compliance responsibilities are structured and implemented across jurisdictions.

Risk & Oversight Support
• Contribute to the evolution of risk assessment methodologies at both Group and local levels.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure risk-related data and processes are aligned and actionable.

Training & Awareness
• Maintain, monitor, and support the delivery of compliance training programs, including local, mandatory, role-specific, and non-mandatory content.
• Support broader compliance awareness initiatives across the business.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Serve as a point of contact for governance-related matters within the Compliance department.
• Facilitate alignment and knowledge-sharing between Compliance and other business functions on shared governance responsibilities.

Operational Support
• Assist in the coordination of recurring compliance activities such as internal reviews, reporting cycles, and documentation updates.
• Support the implementation of tools and dashboards that enhance visibility and control over compliance processes.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in compliance, governance, or risk-related roles, within the online gaming industry, with a focus on areas such as AML, Responsible Gaming, and Data Privacy.
• Strong understanding of regulatory environments across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and regions.
• Excellent command of English (verbal and written). Proficiency in other major European languages is a plus.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical governance structures.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced, and regulated environment.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and risk management & governance platforms.
• Experience with policy lifecycle management and regulatory reporting is a plus.
