Apple is seeking a highly motivated Computational Engineer to join the All-Scale Modeling (ASM) team. This role involves working at the forefront of development, contributing to differentiating technologies for Apple products. Key responsibilities include architecting and developing physics simulation platforms using modern computing environments, as well as identifying and optimizing bottlenecks in these platforms for performance improvement.

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Computational Engineer to join the All-Scale Modeling (ASM) team. You will work at the forefront of development, contributing to the creation of differentiating technologies for products that will delight and inspire millions of customers.

Architect and develop physics simulation platforms leveraging modern computing environments. Identify bottlenecks in the simulation platforms and optimize code and algorithms for performance improvement.

  • Expertise in the low-level programming.
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Applied Math, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with Physics modeling.
  • Expertise in parellel computing.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, CUDA.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $126,800 and $190,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Employees also have the opportunity to become a shareholder through participation in discretionary employee stock programs. Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
