Job Description

The Consultant will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices in enterprise infrastructure environments, specifically WAN and SDWAN environments. This includes working with Cisco routing, MPLS, Internet VPN technologies, ISR, ASR 9k platforms, and potentially Meraki SD-WAN. The role involves creating documentation, interacting with operations, collaborating with domain architects, and providing technical governance during project execution. The consultant will also support roadmap creation and ensure architectural and security principles are followed.

Must have:

6-10 years of relevant hands-on experience in network device management.
Expertise in WAN/SDWAN technologies like Cisco routing and MPLS.
Experience with Cisco Switching Campus Catalyst Switches and Datacenter Nexus platforms.
Ability to comprehend business needs into IT deliverables.
Keeping documentation related to the corresponding Technical Area up to date.
Interact with Operations and proactively highlight different risks (Technical , Process) related to the specific Technical area.
Follow architecture and security principles , processes, Target Architecture guidelines in designing new solutions.

Good to have:

Working knowledge in Meraki, SD-WAN.
Cisco Certifications such as CCNP or CCIE.

Role definition

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for relevant hands-on technical expertise in installation, configuration, maintenance of network devices in enterprise infrastructure environments WAN and SDWAN Environment.

Job Responsibilities:

6 to 10 years of relevant hands-on technical expertise in installation, configuration, maintenance of network devices in enterprise infrastructure environments.
WAN /SDWAN - Cisco Routing, MPLS, Internet VPN technologies, ISR, ASR 9k platforms.
Working knowledge in Meraki, SD-WAN is an added advantage.
LAN - Cisco Switching Campus Catalyst Switches, Datacenter – Nexus 5k, 7k platforms, Cisco ACI etc
WLAN - Cisco WLCs, Aironet APs,
Load-balancing – F5
Cisco Certifications are preferred – CCNP , CCIE ( Routing/Switching/ Datacenter).
Proven relevant experience working in projects, able to deliver services in strict time schedules.
Able to comprehend business needs into IT deliverables.

Skills required:

Keeping documentation (LLD, As-is service/contract view and underlying products) related to the corresponding Technical Area up to date.
Interact with Operations and proactively highlight different risks (Technical , Process) related to the specific Technical area.
Go to person for operations team for any technical clarifications around specific service/products.
Collaborate with Domain Architect to understand HLD and also provide Subject Matter Expertise.
Creating Low level design document and rollout Plan for one or more Projects. Oversee and provide Technical governance during project execution.
Follow architecture and security principles , processes, Target Architecture guidelines in designing new solutions.
Attend different forums based on the project certification requirements and present solutions(Need based).
Support Domain and portfolio architects with technical inputs for Roadmap creation with in specific technical area.
Functionally responsible towards Architecture office and ensure mandates are followed in totality
