Job Description

Drive Philippine credit solution consulting services with the aim to probe and identify clients' critical business issues, develop solutions, and support their implementation. This position requires 5-10 years of experience in banking, financial services, or consulting, along with strong computer literacy, programming, and statistical skills. Responsibilities include creating data segmentations, identifying customer needs, managing key projects, and strategizing with sales teams. The role demands exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities, contributing to new business opportunities and existing service enhancements.
Must have:

  • Conceptualize, develop, and direct execution of complex solutions.

  • Manage complex & large consulting assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional problem solving combined with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build compelling and engaging PowerPoint presentations.
  • Create segmentations or analysis utilizing credit behavior data.
  • Leverage decisioning tools for implementation and production rollout.
  • Identify customer & industry needs, handle data analysis.
  • Develop, present and demonstrate solution capabilities with ROI proposal.
  • Manage key projects and activities for new business or existing services.
  • Work as a member of key account teams.
  • Contribute to account strategy, product/solution positioning, sales planning.
  • Strategize with sales team for customer meetings and sales account plan.
  • Develop, deliver and lead implementation of professional solution proposals.
  • Perform other duties as required to meet goals.
  • Attend networking events and webinars regularly.
  • Willingness to learn and cope with new ideas and technologies.
  • Drive product development requirement to product team.
  • Stakeholder management, prior banking experience, analytical expertise.
  • AI / ML experience, end to end project management.
  • Strong communication skill and business understanding for client engagements.
Good to have:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in credit-consulting or analytics-consulting post
  • Master degree or equivalent in management (e.g., MBA, MSc)
  • Prior experience using statistical software (SAS, R, Python)
  • Experience in launching and/or selling solutions to client
  • Hands-on knowledge and experience in combining data, analytics and technology to deliver solutions
  • Exposure to or experience with Design Thinking or similar approaches

What You'll Bring:

This position requires 5-10 years of experience in banking, financial services or consulting industry. A minimum of 3 years’ experience and successful track record working in a credit-consulting or analytics-consulting post is highly desirable. A master degree or equivalent in management is also highly desirable, e.g. MBA, MSc.

High degree of computer literacy and previous programming experience required. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite. Prior experience using statistical software, such as SAS, R, and Python preferred.

  • Proficiency: Experience in financial modeling, benchmarking and quantitative skills. Statistical programming skill is a must for segmentation analysis, validation or monitoring. Must possess solid knowledge in credit and analytics consulting. Must understand banking & financial services industry challenges and needs. Must be able to conceptualize, develop and direct the execution of complex solutions and enable go-to-market strategies. Experience in launching and/or selling solutions to client is highly desirable. Hands-on knowledge and experience in combining data, analytics and technology to deliver solutions.
  • Organization & Planning: Track records in managing complex & large consulting assignments with high output and minimal supervision. Comfortable to make tough trade-off decisions and focus on key priorities. Copes effectively with complexity and change. Exceptional problem solving combined with strong interpersonal skills, proven by first-hand work experience
  • Challenger Mindset: Takes initiative makes statement that are based on fact and can take a strong stance without being overly abrasive. Demonstrates tenacity and willingness to go the distance to get something done.
  • Communication: Must possess excellent oral, written and presentation skills. Able to translate technical product information into compelling stories. Excellent PowerPoint skills are a must; not only technical proficiency, but more importantly, the ability to build compelling and engaging presentations that effectively articulate a value “story”.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Able to facilitate workshop to uncover customer critical business issues. Exposure to or experience with Design Thinking or similar approaches is a nice-to-have.

Impact You'll Make:

  • Able to create segmentations or analysis utilizing credit behavior data (or alternative data) to fit with lender’s needs or use-cases. Leverage decisioning tools for implementation and production rollout in-line with lender’s process
  • Identify customer & industry needs, handle data analysis, and respond to key business issues of qualified accounts. Develop, present and demonstrate solution capabilities with return-on-investment proposal to the potential customers
  • Manage a variety of key projects and activities related to attaining new business opportunities or existing services. Leverage professional story-telling mechanism and proactive analytics to drive use-cases / values
  • Work as a member of the key account teams and contribute to account strategy, product/solution positioning, sales planning, solution proposition, pipeline generation & sales deal closing
  • Strategize with the sales team and participate in the development of strategies including objectives for all customer meetings and sales account plan. Set aspirational revenue goals and work with sales/IT to develop plans to achieve that goal
  • Develop, deliver and lead implementation of professional solution proposals
  • Perform other duties as required to ensure the goals and objectives of the function/department are met
  • Attend networking events and webinars regularly
  • Willing to learn and have flexibility to cope with new ideas and new technologies to package new solutions and drive product development requirement to product team
  • Job requires stake holder management, prior banking experience, Analytical expertise along with AI / ML experience.
  • End to end project management and strong communication skill and business understanding to manage client engagements end to end.
