The Controller manages all financial, accounting processes, and internal controls, acting as a trusted business partner with an operational mindset. This role involves overseeing financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, ensuring fiscal responsibility and adequate internal controls. The Controller drives profitable decision-making by analyzing financial and operational data, providing business insights to leaders, and developing a team focused on continuous improvement and data-driven analysis.
Must Have
- Manage all financial, accounting, processes and internal controls
- Oversee preparation of financial statements and analysis, budgets and forecasts, and variance analysis
- Maintain fiscal responsibility and ensure adequate internal controls
- Drive profitable decision making and maximizing return on assets
- Understand and remain close with the operations of the business and operators
- Present analysis findings to various leaders
- Maintain financial staff job results by coaching, counseling, and developing employees
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 7+ years of experience, preferably at a manufacturing company
- General understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Act
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Work independently with little or no oversight
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office suite of products and accounting software
- Strong analytical/critical thinking
- Big data modeling, financial modeling, automation experiences
Good to Have
- CPA preferred
- Oracle R12 and Hyperion Financial Management experience preferred

Position Summary:Responsible for and manages all financial, accounting, processes and internal controls the accounting and financial activities in the business as well as being a trusted business partner that has an operational/business mindset who can deliver results that improve the business working with business leaders and auditors. Position Responsibilities: * Works effectively with a wide array of plant personnel ranging from hourly employees to senior management * Manages and develops a team focused on business partnering, advisory, continuous improvement efforts, and data driven analysis/decision making * Oversees preparation of financial statements and analysis, budgets and forecasts, and variance analysis of actual performance results. * Maintains fiscal responsibility and ensures the establishment and administration of adequate internal controls within the organization. * Helps drive profitable decision making and maximizing return on assets by preparing and analyzing financial data along with operational metrics. * Understands and remains close with the operations of the business and operators, providing them with financial analysis and business insights to help with decision making * Presents analysis findings to various leaders in the business. * Maintains financial staff job results by coaching, counseling, and developing employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
