Controller

The Controller manages all financial, accounting processes, and internal controls, acting as a trusted business partner with an operational mindset. This role involves overseeing financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, ensuring fiscal responsibility and adequate internal controls. The Controller drives profitable decision-making by analyzing financial and operational data, providing business insights to leaders, and developing a team focused on continuous improvement and data-driven analysis.

Must Have

• Manage all financial, accounting, processes and internal controls
• Oversee preparation of financial statements and analysis, budgets and forecasts, and variance analysis
• Maintain fiscal responsibility and ensure adequate internal controls
• Drive profitable decision making and maximizing return on assets
• Understand and remain close with the operations of the business and operators
• Present analysis findings to various leaders
• Maintain financial staff job results by coaching, counseling, and developing employees
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 7+ years of experience, preferably at a manufacturing company
• General understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Act
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Work independently with little or no oversight
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office suite of products and accounting software
• Strong analytical/critical thinking
• Big data modeling, financial modeling, automation experiences

• Oracle R12 and Hyperion Financial Management experience preferred
