YOUR ROLE WITHIN OUR KINGDOM
As part of our central Corporate Strategy team, you'll develop deep expertise in the mobile gaming market to keep King ahead of trends and opportunities. We are responsible for King’s view on the outside world of mobile gaming, spotlighting the latest product innovations, game launches, and competitor activities. We draw insights from these to inform and support King’s products and strategic decisions.
Strong data analysis and processing skills are essential, along with the ability to structure compelling arguments using data. You'll work with large, diverse, and often imperfect datasets, understanding how to manipulate and combine them to reach actionable conclusions. You appreciate that the best insights draw from both quantitative and qualitative data.
AS A CORPORATE STRATEGY ANALYST / ASSOCIATE, YOU WILL:
Analyse competitor data to identify industry trends, investigate causes, and deliver insights that influence game design and strategy.
Provide tailored market and competitor insights to leadership and game teams for informed decision-making.
Spot feature innovations in the gaming market, hypothesize on the drivers of their success or failure, and clearly communicate your findings.
Collaborate with team members and game teams to support product development cases and refine product designs, shaping the future of King's games.
Present key findings and adapt your messaging to suit diverse audiences, conveying complex problems and solutions creatively and effectively.
Build and nurture relationships within the team and across King.
SKILLS TO CREATE THRILLS
Strong quantitative skills with advanced proficiency in SQL/Big Query with the ability to write efficient, complex queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Experience with Google’s ‘Looker’ data intelligence & analytics tool.
Passionate about data and applying an analytical mindset, with keen attention to detail
An ability to extract insights from various data sources by:
Creating robust and dynamic models
Developing presentations with key findings for diverse audiences
Effectively communicating key findings to senior leaders and product teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
Adaptability in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
A proactive attitude, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
Strong knowledge of the mobile gaming industry and/or a passion to dive into its business side.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
