We are a group of real estate legal professionals on the lookout for an accomplished Counsel to join us in building new McDonald’s restaurants to feed and foster communities across the U.S. If you're experienced in commercial real estate and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and work independently, this is your opportunity to unleash your creativity, tackle complex legal issues and make an impact to shape McDonald’s future.

Counsel on the Restaurant Development Legal Team:

  • Have established legal expertise in commercial real estate and experience drafting, negotiating, and analyzing real estate agreements such as leases, purchase contracts, and other ancillary real estate documents and experience reviewing and analyzing title and survey
  • Have excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills to independently advise business partners on a variety of leasing and acquisition matters
  • Are intellectually curious and motivated to grow their legal expertise under the coaching and supervision of our experienced Senior Counsel team
  • Think strategically to anticipate future business needs and identify existing opportunities, including by developing new practices, leading change efforts, and adopting new technologies to unlock efficiency
  • Have experience building strong client relationships and a team-first approach to practicing law

The expected salary range for this role is $149,260 – $190,310 per year

Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing with a state bar association.
  • 5+ year(s) of experience in commercial retail leasing and acquisitions, preferably from a law firm or in-house legal position
