As Creative Director at tonies®, you'll lead and inspire impactful creative work across all platforms. Responsibilities include developing and implementing a design strategy aligned with company goals, overseeing creative concepts for digital, social, print, packaging, and retail. You'll build and manage a global network of creative partners, ensuring high-quality, on-brand output. This role demands collaboration with cross-functional teams, managing project execution within budget and timelines. The ideal candidate possesses 12+ years of creative leadership experience, including 5+ years managing design, video, and copywriting teams. A strong portfolio showcasing innovative campaigns and a deep understanding of content production are essential. You must be strategically minded and capable of tying creative work to business objectives.

We are looking for a talented leader and creative strategist to inspire and oversee impactful work across all platforms. This role involves building a network of external partners and ensuring cohesive, high-quality output aligned with consumer insights and business goals. Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
Creative Leadership & Execution:
  • Develop and implement a design strategy aligned with company goals, overseeing high-impact creative concepts across all brand touchpoints (digital, social, print, packaging, retail).
  • Build and integrate a global network of creative partners, ensuring seamless processes for efficient, high-quality execution.
  • Direct the creation of world-class assets, providing hands-on feedback to ensure all outputs are on-brand, strategic, and impactful.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage end-to-end project execution, ensuring timely, budget-conscious delivery with excellence.
What we are looking for:
  • **Applicants must be currently located in Germany, France, UK or USA (East Coast).**
  • 12+ years in creative leadership, with expertise in strategy and hands-on execution; 5+ years managing graphic design, video, and copywriting teams.
  • Portfolio showcasing innovative campaigns across NA/EU markets, retail packaging, and social video.
  • Proven ability to manage global contractors, delivering seamless global and local assets.
  • Deep knowledge of content production, tools, and processes for speed and scale.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, effective across functions and levels.
  • A strategic visionary with business acumen, capable of tying creative work to company strategy while excelling in tactical execution.
