At Hogarth, the Creative Lead ensures creative excellence across all deliverables, leading the team with a strong focus on craft, strategy, and innovation. This role bridges creative vision and client goals, elevating storytelling, guiding strategic thinking, and collaborating closely with Creative Operations on talent allocation. Working alongside the Head of Creative, the Creative Lead helps shape key client work, supports team development, and contributes to the evolution of creative practice, with a sharp eye on innovation and emerging tools like AI.

  • Ensure a high standard of creative output and craft excellence across all projects.
  • Guide the team in understanding project demands, objectives, and desired outputs, fostering innovative strategic and tactical solutions.
  • Proactively identify and help the team navigate creative challenges and pitfalls.
  • Elevate the storytelling quality of creative presentations, ensuring compelling narratives for our clients.
  • Partner with Creative Operations to optimize talent allocation across various jobs and projects.
  • Co-create strategic & creative efforts for major clients.
  • Discuss and address individual and team challenges, contributing to a positive and productive creative environment.
  • Assist in updating and managing our freelance talent pool.
  • Collaborate on developing new creative ideas, strategies, and departmental initiatives.

What does a Creative Lead do at Hogarth?

At Hogarth, the Creative Lead is responsible for ensuring creative excellence across all deliverables, leading the team with a strong focus on craft, strategy, and innovation. This role bridges creative vision and client goals — elevating storytelling, guiding strategic thinking, and collaborating closely with Creative Ops on talent allocation. Working alongside the Head of Creative, the Creative Lead helps shape key client work, supports team development, and contributes to the evolution of our creative practice, with a sharp eye on innovation and emerging tools like AI.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Leadership & Team Development:

  • Craft & Quality Assurance: Ensure a high standard of creative output and craft excellence across all projects.
  • Strategic & Tactical Solutions: Guide the team in understanding project demands, objectives, and desired outputs, fostering innovative strategic and tactical solutions.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and help the team navigate creative challenges and pitfalls.
  • Storytelling & Presentation: Elevate the storytelling quality of creative presentations, ensuring compelling narratives for our clients.

Collaboration with Creative Ops:

  • Talent Allocation: Partner with Creative Operations to optimize talent allocation across various jobs and projects.

Partnership with the Head of Creative:

  • Client Leadership: Co-create strategic & creative efforts for major clients.
  • Team Management: Discuss and address individual and team challenges, contributing to a positive and productive creative environment.
  • Resource Management: Assist in updating and managing our freelance talent pool.
  • Innovation & Strategy: Collaborate on developing new creative ideas, strategies, and departmental initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Exceptional Art Direction: A solid and diverse portfolio demonstrating outstanding art direction.
  • Integrated Campaign Experience: Proven experience developing comprehensive brand campaigns across multiple touchpoints, with a strong understanding of user journeys.
  • Social Content Expertise: In-depth knowledge of creative social content strategies and execution.
  • Compelling Storytelling: Strong Keynote/presentation storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Team Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring small to medium-sized creative teams.
  • Fluent English.
  • AI: familiarity with AI tools of creative & production workflow
