Summary
Responsible for performing the physical and administrative tasks supporting a second Warehouse custodian /storage duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Design a storage arrangement consisting of open floor space and storage racks, that enables the safe passage of material handling equipment while optimizing storage space
Assign identification markings to each storage location for material traceability and tracking within the MRP system.
Maintain material control by coordinating the receipt and removal of material on a daily basis and scheduled inventories
Storage of completed kits
Coordinate with the Material Management Manager regarding trainer shipments and subsystem deliveries, to ensure efficiency and accuracy of the process
Coordinate with the Material Management Manager to ensure proper storage space is assigned based on Program Gate 5 requirements
Maintain a safe and clean environment consistent with Environmental Health & Safety and Foreign Object Debris requirements.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Requires a High School Diploma /GED or equivalent of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post- Secondary /Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Share Point, etc.)
Warehousing, storage and forklift experience
Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
Preferred Skills
Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) _Certified/Experience
Strong organizational skills requiring administrative, technical and physical task
Ability to identify risk, and resolve or mitigate those risk before they materialize
Work with minimal direction while communicating the need for support as required
Forklift driver trained or the ability to be certified
Computer skills to include material database experience and Microsoft applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Security Responsibilities
Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

Work Environment
Able to work in a warehouse environment.
Able to work to a flexible schedule and overtime as required.
