Job Description

The Customer Solutions Engineer III at Google's gTech Professional Services team works collaboratively to develop global solutions. Responsibilities include identifying and building solutions and best practices for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) customers, designing and scaling customized solutions for thousands of customers, collecting requirements, providing guidance and innovative solutions for ad products and technologies, and experimenting with new technologies to address challenges where existing Google products are insufficient. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team, including solutions architects, to accelerate solution development and achieve customer and business goals.

  • 3+ years experience with client-side web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP)
  • 3+ years coding experience (Java, C/C++, Python)
  • Technical troubleshooting and partner/customer management experience

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • 3 years of experience in coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments or cloud data engineering.
  • Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience using Machine Learning and building solutions.
  • Experience working with systems (e.g., Linux, Unix).
  • Experience in an investigative role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside solutions architects to accelerate the identification and development of solutions globally.
  • Identify and build a series of solutions and best practices at a global level to be used by Google Cloud Platform (GCS) customers globally.
  • Design and scale, cross-product customized solutions to be rolled out to thousands of customers globally.
  • Collect requirements, provide guidance, best practices and innovative solutions to apply ad products and technologies and drive customer and business goals.
  • Experiment with new technologies to develop solutions where existing Google products cannot help.
