Job Description

ISS STOXX is seeking a Customer Success Operations Support to join their Governance team in Tokyo, Japan. The role involves supporting clients' voting for Japan domestic ballots. Responsibilities include monitoring incoming ballots, reconciling received ballots against client positions, managing cutoffs for conventional ballots, populating excel forms with client instructions, sending conventional ballots to trust banks, and liaising with clients, trust banks, and internal teams to ensure smooth vote flows. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 2-3 years of relevant Operations experience in the Financial Services industry (preferably asset management), proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), native Japanese language skills, business-level English communication, and be amenable to a hybrid work arrangement.

Overview

ISS STOXX is growing! We seek a Customer Success Operations Support to contribute to our expanding success and join our Governance team based at our Tokyo office- Japan.

The Customer Success Operations Support reports to Japan Head of Client Success and handles clients’ voting of Japan domestic ballots. The role monitors incoming ballots for clients and ensures that the ballots with their vote instruction are timely sent back to trust banks/the ballot provider.

The Customer Success Operations Support はJapan Head of Client Successにレポートし、日本総会における国内バロッツの処理を担当します。クライアント宛に到着するバロッツをモニターし、クライアントの指図を反映したバロッツが適時に信託銀行・バロットプロバイダーに届けられる様手配を行います。

Responsibilities of Customer Success Operations Support include the following:

  • Monitor incoming domestic ballots – electric ballots as well as conventional ballots in excel form – for Japan meetings;

  • Reconcile ballots received against client positions;

  • Manage cutoffs of conventional ballots and run internal programs to populate the excel forms with client instructions;

  • Send back conventional ballots to trust banks; and

  • Liaise with clients, trust banks and internal teams to ensure smooth vote flows.

  • クライアントが担当する国内口座に宛てて到着する日本総会のバロッツ(電子バロッツおよび従来型のエクセルフォームのバロッツ)のモニター

  • 受領したバロッツとクライアント保有残高のレコンサイル

  • 従来型のバロッツをカットオフ順に管理し、社内プログラムを用いてクライアントの指図をエクセルフォームに転記の上、信託銀行等に返送

  • 議決権行使フローが円滑に進行する様、必要に応じクライアント・信託銀行・社内の関連チームと連携

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree graduate

  • With 2-3 years’ relative work experience in Operations in the Financial Services industry- ideally under Asset management industry

  • Proficiency in MS Office with emphasis on Excel

  • Native level in Japanese language and with business level English communication skills

  • Amenable with a hybrid work arrangement- 3 days in the office and 2 days' work from home per week

  • 「週3日出社-2日在宅勤務」のハイブリッド勤務に対応出来ること
