The Opportunity
“As a Threat Intelligence Senior Manager, you will be analyzing the cyber threat landscape and associated tactic, techniques and procedures to determine which threats increase FICO’s risk exposure. You will lead and inspire a team of security researchers, setting research priorities and guiding projects to advance the understanding of emerging cyber threats.” - Hiring Manager.
What You’ll Contribute
- Lead the development and delivery of strategic threat intelligence briefings and reports, ensuring findings are actionable and aligned with executive decision-making needs.
- Define, prioritize, and drive intelligence requirements that proactively strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity posture and support cross-functional risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the integration and analysis of multi-source technical indicators to identify trends, emerging threats, and high-confidence Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) with strategic business implications.
- Maintain situational awareness of the global threat landscape, ensuring leadership is informed of relevant shifts in adversary capabilities and intent.
- Direct long-term tracking and analysis of Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) actors, including TTPs, infrastructure, and campaign evolution, to inform risk models and defense strategies.
- Guide the implementation of threat hunting methodologies using SIEM and advanced telemetry to surface adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures across the enterprise.
- Sponsor and oversee the use of statistical, spatial, and qualitative threat modeling techniques to deliver high-impact intelligence assessments that inform both security operations and executive risk discussions.
- Lead efforts to synthesize complex datasets from multiple sensors and intelligence sources into cohesive, business-relevant threat intelligence outputs.
- Leverage deep expertise in adversary tradecraft to shape and evolve detection capabilities, enabling preemptive identification of emerging attack vectors and vulnerabilities.
What We’re Seeking
- Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of experience in a related field.
- Strong research, analytical, writing, briefing, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong experience in the field of analyzing the Cyber Threat Landscape to determine adversary targeting, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Experience conveying technical information to a broad range of non-technical audience.
- Ability to work independently, as well as mentoring other team members.
- Understanding MITRE ATT&CK as well as Cyber Kill Framework.
