Job Description

As a Data Analyst at Webelinx Games, you will transform business problems into data analysis questions, identifying patterns and opportunities to guide strategic decisions. You will monitor market dynamics, analyze competitors, develop revenue and profitability models, and collaborate with product and marketing teams to provide data-driven insights. Your role involves designing A/B tests, developing player segmentation, and improving data infrastructure to enhance player value and engagement.
Must have:
  • Monitor market dynamics, analyze competitors’ moves, assess its impact on KPI performance and propose relevant activities
  • Develop models to estimate product revenue and profitability of marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to provide insights and guidance from qualitative and quantitative analyses
  • Translate ad-hoc requests into reusable data tools
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to drive key strategic initiatives for the improvement of the data and analytics infrastructure
  • Design and interpret A/B tests and multivariate experiments
  • Develop segmentation and players profiling to understand their needs and in-game behavior
  • At least 2+ years of experience in data analytics or another quantitative analytics field, preferably in the gaming industry
  • University degree in computer science, engineering or mathematics/statistics, economics, or relevant working experience
  • Knowledge about in-depth business analysis, recognising and monitoring key KPI indicators, understanding analytical tools and consoles, and data structures as a whole
  • Experience in understanding the strengths and weaknesses of different statistical modelling approaches
  • Deep knowledge of data visualisation principles and dash-boarding building experience in Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, and/or similar
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of mobile gaming metrics and the mobile gaming industry
  • Experience with data documentation, design, and implementation
  • Experience building applications in a cloud environment
  • Experience in writing new & adapting existing SQL queries against complex data sets

As a Data Analyst in Webelinx Games, you will work with stakeholders across the organization to turn business problems into data analysis questions. By digging into numbers, spotting patterns, and connecting the dots, you’ll help us stay ahead of market shifts and discover new opportunities. Your insights will be the power-ups that guide our decisions and keep us moving toward big wins.

You responsibilities

  • Monitor market dynamics, analyze competitors’ moves, assess its impact on KPI performance and propose relevant activities.
  • Develop models to estimate product revenue and profitability of marketing campaigns through deep understanding of available data and advanced statistical methods.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to provide insights and guidance from qualitative and quantitative analyses, and analytically validated assumptions about games and marketing campaigns.
  • Translate ad-hoc requests into reusable data tools that can scale to answer broader questions.
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to drive key strategic initiatives for the improvement of the data and analytics infrastructure.
  • Design and interpret A/B tests and multivariate experiments.
  • Develop segmentation and players profiling to understand their needs and in-game behavior, and identify specific actions and areas for improvement to increase player value and time players spend in the game.

What we're looking for

  • At least 2+ years of experience in data analytics or another quantitative analytics field, preferably in the gaming industry
  • University degree in computer science, engineering or mathematics/statistics, economics, or relevant working experience
  • Knowledge about in-depth business analysis, recognising and monitoring key KPI indicators, understanding analytical tools and consoles, and data structures as a whole
  • Experience in understanding the strengths and weaknesses of different statistical modelling approaches and can effectively reason about when to apply different combinations and iterate
  • Deep knowledge of data visualisation principles and dash-boarding building experience in one of these: Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, and/or similar

We’ll consider it a plus if you have

  • Knowledge of mobile gaming metrics and the mobile gaming industry
  • Experience with data documentation, design, and implementation
  • Experience building applications in a cloud environment
  • Experience in writing new & adapting existing SQL queries against complex data sets
