Job Responsibilities :
Razer Gold aims to become the world’s leading payment service provider for games and digital content. As our business grows to meet the needs of gamers globally, we are looking for an experienced data engineer to join our team and fulfil the needs of our gamer customer base.As Data Engineer in Razer Gold, you will be a part of Razer Gold’s data team and play a key role in the daily operations relating to the operation and maintenance of our data pipeline. You will be reporting to the Lead Data Engineer in Razer Gold.
- Build and maintain a robust data pipeline using industry best practices.
- Ensure data consistency and quality are upheld.
- Suggest improvements to the existing data strategy.
Pre-Requisites :
Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a relevant field.
1-3 years of experience in the data engineering domain.
Able to work independently in a fast-paced and highly complex environment.
Experience in gaming and/or payments industries a plus.
Good communication skills (both verbal and written) – English is mandatory.
Good knowledge in data, data engineering and other related subdomains.
Background in cloud, cloud native applications and data flows.
Working knowledge of MS SQL, MySQL, Apache Kafka, Confluent and other related systems.
