The Ubisoft Data Office – Domain Enabling team is looking for a Data Engineer. This role requires an experienced engineer with expertise in building data pipelines using Python, Spark & SQL, to develop innovative solutions for the Business Performance Data Domain. You will be part of an international team distributed in Bucharest, Paris, and Montréal, working with cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities include designing, building, maintaining, and optimizing complex data pipelines (ETL jobs) and related data warehouse models/objects, testing solutions, analyzing data quality issues, ensuring documentation, possessing an analytical mindset, contributing to project meetings, and collaborating with business partners, adapting the vocabulary accordingly.
Must have:

This role calls for a seasoned engineer with expertise in building data pipelines with Python, Spark & SQL, to develop innovative solutions for the Business Performance Data Domain. You'll have the opportunity to be part of on an international team distributed in Bucharest, Paris and Montréal and work with cutting-edge technologies.
What you’ll do
- Understand business requirements to design, build, maintain and optimize complex data pipelines (ETL jobs) and related data warehouse models / objects
- Test the solutions implemented and analyze potential data quality issues to determine the root cause
- Ensure that formal documentation is produced for all development tasks
- Have an analytics mindset and a passion for data
- Contribute to the project meetings / workshops and provide the necessary inputs to support the project planning and execution
- Communicate and collaborate with the business partners; ability to present technical artefacts to a non technical audience, adapting the vocabulary accordingly
