Our people in data management focus on organising and maintaining data to enable accuracy and accessibility for effective decision-making. These individuals handle data governance, quality control, and data integration to support business operations.
Those in data quality and operations will focus on the accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of data for effective decision-making and business operations. Your work will involve implementing data quality control measures, performing data cleansing and validation, and monitoring data integrity. You will be responsible for managing data operations, including data acquisition, transformation, and loading processes, to enable the smooth functioning of data management systems and processes.
Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team member’s unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. Position Overview:
The Data Governance and Management Lead is responsible for the delivery management of the Data Quality Management, Data Stewardship and Data Governance services and teams. The Lead ensures that internal, enterprise data is of a high quality through engagement with LoS data owners and stewards, accurate maintenance of key data sets, and meeting data quality metrics. The Lead also supports the Data Lead with the development and implementation of Africa-wide data policies and processes to ensure that enterprise data is properly managed in accordance with firm and regulatory standards.

The Data Governance and Quality Manager plays a critical role in establishing data governance frameworks that will build trust in our data, open revenues for data monetization and upholding the quality and integrity of the organization’s data assets. Your expertise in data governance and management practices and commitment to fostering a culture of accountability will significantly enhance the effectiveness of data governance initiatives within Africa.
