Job Description

The Desktop Engineer will provide daily technical support to Electronic Arts studios for endpoints, including Windows and Mac desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Responsibilities include supporting the latest game consoles and meeting room technologies, deploying and supporting operating systems and client software, participating in local IT projects, and managing IT assets. The role also involves supporting hybrid work models for studio employees, developing relationships with business teams, and reporting to the Madrid Site IT Manager. The role requires experience with endpoint support, troubleshooting, and various software and services.
Must have:
  • 2+ years of IT support experience
  • Experience with Windows, macOS, and Office 365
  • Experience with Active Directory, MS Intune, and Jamf
  • Fluent German and English skills

As a digital entertainment company, EA’s enterprise technology needs are diverse and span across game development, workforce collaboration, marketing, publishing, player experience, security, and corporate activities. Responsibilities: * You will provide daily technical support to EA studios on endpoints including Windows and Mac desktops, laptops and mobile devices.   * Support latest game consoles and meeting rooms technologies. * Deploy and support operating systems and client software, including Windows, macOS, Office 365, game development software using MDT, MS Intune, Jamf or Tanium, Filers. * Participe/manage in local IT projects, and deliver global/regional IT projects in the sites. * Follow EAIT processes to perform change, incident/problem, and configuration management tasks. * Purchase IT hardware/software for the studio, manage IT assets. * Support studio employees hybrid work models. * Develop relationships and communicate with business teams and studios. * You will report to Madrid’s Site IT Manager. Qualifications: * 2+ years of experience in an IT support role * We are looking for candidates with experience supporting and troubleshooting endpoints, game consoles and meeting room technologies including Windows Workstation OS, macOS, Zoom, Slack, Google Drive and Office 365 suite. * Experience working with Active Directory, MS Intune, Jamf, Windows Server, basic network services like DNS, DHCP. * Native or fluent German and fluent in written and spoken English skills, being global teams
