Developer Advocate

This role is US remote, with frequent travel to events in the San Francisco Bay area. If you prefer, you can work from our office in San Francisco.

About the role

We are hiring a developer advocate. You'll play a core part in improving our developer experience particularly developer docs and example projects — deeply understanding where users are getting stuck and then writing/shipping what they need. You will also help drive customer acquisition of our technical self-serve customers by creating and presenting engaging content both online and in-person at developer meetups and conferences across the US, with focus on events across the San Francisco bay area.. This is perfect for someone who can create engaging content and is very comfortable going out presenting and talking to developers in person.

What you bring

• Strong full-stack engineer with an eye for design, usage of new AI coding tools encouraged.

• You can come up with a great idea for a tutorial, build a working demo, and create a high-quality blog post and talk.

• You like to write engaging technical content.

• You will treat technical content as a product - understanding the metrics and speaking to users to decide what to build/write, and then doubling down on what works.

• (Bonus) You’ve built something already with the ElevenLabs APIs.

• (Bonus) Experience with SEO and developer advocacy.
