Job Description

As Commercial Lead, you will be the strategic force behind scaling and optimizing our commercial AE organization. You’ll own both revenue outcomes and team performance. Your responsibilities include setting go-to-market strategy, quotas, and territory design for U.S. commercial accounts. You will lead, coach, and scale a team of Commercial AEs, monitoring pipeline health and improving conversion metrics. Additionally, you'll define sales playbooks, partner with other departments for alignment, gather client insights for product roadmap guidance, and personally manage key strategic deals.
Must Have:
  • 7+ years of SaaS / technology sales leadership experience.
  • Proven track record scaling AE teams and surpassing revenue targets.
  • Deep understanding of sales metrics, funnel optimization, and sales process best practices.
  • Experience selling technical / AI / API solutions to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast, ambiguous, high-growth environment.

About The Role

As Commercial Lead, you will be the strategic force behind scaling and optimizing our commercial AE organization. You’ll own both revenue outcomes and team performance. In this role, you will:

1. Set go-to-market strategy, quotas, segmentation, and territory design across U.S. commercial accounts.

2. Lead, coach, and scale a team of Commercial AEs - recruiting, enabling, and driving results.

3. Monitor pipeline health, forecast, and improve conversion metrics across stages.

4. Define sales playbooks, sales motions, objection frameworks, and deal models tailored to voice AI / conversational use cases.

5. Partner with marketing, product, growth, and customer success to align messaging, positioning, and cross-sell/expansion motion.

6. Build feedback loops - gather insights from prospects and clients to guide product roadmap.

7. Own key, strategic deals yourself (especially early / major logos) to lead by example.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of SaaS / technology sales leadership experience.
