This position is a 10-month contract located in Vancouver and requires a hybrid work arrangement.

  • 5+ years project management or team leadership experience
  • 4+ years management experience in a collaborative environment
  • Strong communication skills across all levels
Good to have:
  • Experience in managing tech-focused projects
  • Experience with project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile

If you're passionate about building immersive digital entertainment, this is the role of a lifetim The Role Reporting to a senior Technical Director, a Development Director will lead a team of engineers focused on technical initiatives foundational to multiple game teams. You’ll manage various technical projects that are crucial to enhancing the capabilities of our game development teams. Your role will ensure these projects progress smoothly while maintaining a focus on quality, collaboration, and communication.   This team works hybrid onsite (Tuesday + Wednesday + Thursday) in Vancouver. This is a 10-month contract to begin with.   Your Responsibilities
  • Build and Evolve Teams: Identify resourcing needs, provide challenges and development opportunities to help engineers reach their potential.
  • Foster Relationships: Develop strong working relationships within the team and with external partners, impacting project success.
  • Technical Project Management: Manage technical projects across multiple teams, coordinating dependencies and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively address risks related to scope and quality to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Task Management: Establish and assign tasks from defined project goals, ensuring project deliverables are met at a broader level.
  • Scheduling: Develop project schedules, determine task dependencies, and allocate resources effectively.
  Your Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years project management or team leadership experience, with 4+ years of management experience working in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
  • Experience in managing tech-focused projects is a bonus.
  • University degree, Bachelor's, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels and organizations.
  • Experience in project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
