Job Summary

Kforce is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Boston, MA. This role involves building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake, Informatica, and Airflow, automating code promotion, and developing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. The engineer will ensure consistent configuration across multi-cloud setups, implement monitoring, optimize pipeline performance, and enforce DevSecOps practices. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting orchestration issues and supporting RBAC and user access provisioning.

Must Have

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake, Informatica (IICS), and Airflow DAG deployments.
  • Automate code promotion across environments and integrate testing, linting, and security checks.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for Snowflake, networking, and cloud resources.
  • Ensure consistent configuration across multi-region/multi-cloud setups.
  • Maintain secure connectivity between cloud and on-prem systems.
  • Implement logging, alerting, and monitoring dashboards for workflows and performance.
  • Optimize pipeline performance, concurrency, and cost in Snowflake.
  • Manage deployment frameworks for ETL/ELT code, SQL scripts, and metadata updates.
  • Support RBAC and user access provisioning across platforms.
  • Troubleshoot orchestration issues and lead incident response.
  • Enforce DevSecOps practices (encryption, secrets management, compliance).
  • Implement audit, backup/restore strategies per governance requirements.
  • Participate in testing, deployment, and release management for new workflows.
  • 3-7+ years in DevOps, Cloud, or Data Platform Engineering.
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of networking and security controls.
  • Expertise in Snowflake, Apache Airflow, Informatica.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong CI/CD skills.
  • Proficient in Terraform, Python, Shell scripting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Data Engineering, Health Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-7+ years in DevOps, Cloud, or Data Platform Engineering
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
  • Solid understanding of networking and security controls
  • Expertise in: Snowflake; Apache Airflow; Informatica
  • Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP
