Job Summary

OpenText is seeking a security-focused Lead Cybersecurity Site Reliability Engineer to join their global team. This role involves designing, implementing, and operating cybersecurity solutions across multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS ecosystems. The SRE will apply SRE principles to ensure reliability, performance, and security of critical infrastructure, providing operational support, managing cloud infrastructure with IaC, implementing robust cloud security controls, and collaborating with various teams to align security and reliability goals.

Must Have

  • Provide direct operational support for cybersecurity products and technologies across multi-cloud environments.
  • Configure and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  • Maintain system uptime, apply patches, and ensure security across all cloud platforms.
  • Integrate and manage SaaS-based cybersecurity solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, Okta, Prisma).
  • Implement robust cloud security controls including access management, encryption, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Conduct performance analysis, capacity planning, and proactive monitoring to optimize system reliability.
  • Apply SRE principles to improve system resilience, including incident response.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and compliance teams to align security and reliability goals with business objectives.
  • Maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, specifications, and best practices.
  • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, cybersecurity trends, and SRE methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS cybersecurity tools and enterprise integration.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform).
  • 5+ years of experience in Container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • 5+ years of experience in Managing modern databases (e.g., Aurora, PostgreSQL).

Good to Have

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
  • Competence in AI technologies.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Experience with observability tools (e.g. Zabbix, Grafana, CloudWatch).
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, FedRAMP, SOC 2, PCI DSS).
  • Advanced English proficiency and excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with geographically distributed teams.

Your Impact:

We are seeking a highly skilled and security-focused Lead Cybersecurity Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our global team. This role is ideal for the hands-on engineer who thrives in dynamic, multi-cloud environments and is passionate about building secure, scalable, and resilient systems.

As a Cybersecurity SRE, you will play a critical part in the design, implementation, and operation of cybersecurity solutions across public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS ecosystems. You will apply SRE principles to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of critical infrastructure and services. Your expertise in cloud technologies, security and SRE principles will drive the success of our cloud initiatives and ensure our systems operate seamlessly.

What you will do:
