Job Purpose


  • Handling Bravura Build and Release Infrastructure operations and enhancements.
  • Exploring new tool and technologies
  • Design and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines.


What You’ll Do

To augment our existing Software Configuration and deployment teams, provide code delivery solutions across initial Wealth Management. Working with the Business, Development and Project management teams to ensure the software developed is delivered according to requirements.


  • Maintenance and enhancement of the CI systems which include Jenkins, Arti factories, Bitbucket and Gitlab etc.
  • Managing AWS based Jfrog Artifactory setup including the upgrades, vulnerabilities, and the performance.
  • Handling and configuration of monitoring of Build Infrastructure.
  • Work with developers to clarify build details and resolve build conflicts.
  • Engage project management to plan and assist implementations.
  • Liaison with IT Infrastructure departments throughout the organisation for enhancements or issues.
  • Ensure effective communication regarding service change issues between both Project managers, Bravura Solutions Consultancy.
  • Liaison and planning of system outages required to maintain service delivery timeframes.
  • Support of complex environments, troubleshooting issues in support of colleagues.

Technical

An ability to quickly gain a comprehensive understanding of primary and ancillary systems application configuration.

A comprehensive appreciation of the infrastructure within which the application exists, covering:


  • Admin level experience in Jenkins, Gitlab and JFrog artifactory
  • Good experience in version control systems GIT/SVN/Bitbucket
  • Build TOOLS like Maven, Gradle or ANT
  • Application servers like JBoss, Tomcat
  • Unix/Linux and scripting skills [Mandatory]
  • Good understanding of AWS
  • Understanding of any Configuration and Automation tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible)
  • Good understanding of DevOps principles, knowledge of CI, CD pipelines
  • Experience in writing SQLs and performing DDL DML operations.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is desired.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Exposure to monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Grafana wtc.
