We are seeking a transformational leader to serve as VP of Engineering Operations for our Unified Agentforce Platform. This executive will ensure that our global teams across Data Cloud, AI Cloud, Platform, Heroku, MuleSoft, Tableau, Apps, and Industries operate as one unified system with common standards and processes.
The mission is clear: build the most effective and efficient Agentforce platform to accelerate engineering delivery velocity using AI and agents. This role requires a leader who can balance rigor and agility, execution and innovation, and who can translate vision into measurable outcomes. This role plays a critical role in the evolution of Agentic operating system of the company's engineering itself powered by AI and agents so we deliver the most effective and efficient Agentforce platform for our customers.
1. Run the Business with Excellence
- Drive annual and quarterly planning, aligning resources and investments with business priorities through a unified Resource Costing Model.
- Ensure operational rigor with predictable release cadences, quality assurance processes, and actionable engineering metrics.
- Deliver clear, data-driven V2MOM updates that keep leadership aligned and accountable.
- Partner and influence senior leaders within Unified Agentforce Platform and across the company to help drive critical new business and engineering initiatives.
2. Accelerate Delivery Velocity with AI & Agents
- Champion developer productivity initiatives that leverage AI and digital agents to remove systemic blockers.
- Scale adoption of Agentforce across engineering workflows to shorten cycle times and boost velocity.
- Instill an “always green” culture, embedding automation and intelligence into build, test, and release processes.
3. Shape the Future Footprint
- Define and execute our global location strategy, optimizing for talent, cost, and collaboration across platforms, apps, and industries.
- Partner with Finance and Recruiting to anticipate growth, optimize resourcing, and manage spend with discipline.
- Serve as a steward of financial clarity with meticulous forecasting, variance analysis, and transparent trade-offs.
4. Orchestrate the Enterprise
- Act as the strategic connector across Platform, Apps, and Industries engineering, uniting efforts to deliver as one company.
- Translate executive directives into actionable plans with ownership, feedback loops, and measurable progress.
- Partner with executive leadership to craft compelling narratives for board, customers, and employees—turning Agentforce transformation into visible impact.
5. Building Strong Teams & Bench Strength

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 15+ years of progressive leadership in Engineering Operations, Program Management, or equivalent, with 10+ years leading high-performing teams in large-scale tech.
- Expertise: Proven record driving large-scale operational transformations across engineering orgs, ideally with AI/automation at scale.
- Skills: Executive presence, strategic problem-solving, financial acumen, and ability to influence across matrixed orgs.
- Mindset: Pragmatic operator + visionary leader—able to bridge long-term platform transformation with daily execution.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Preferred: SaaS operations expertise, experience with Agile methodologies, Tableau/visualization tools, and dual exposure to product + engineering orgs.
