We're looking for a curious and motivated DevOps intern to assist in building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports the development, integration, and testing of our AI toolkit. Join us to get a hands-on experience with modern DevOps practices while working on a real-world, high-impact open-source project used by developers worldwide.
You will:
- Assist in configuring, monitoring and maintaining both cloud-based and on-premises systems and environments.
- Improve our CI/CD pipelines so that every contributor has a faster, cleaner, and more pleasant development experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automated builds, tests, and deployment workflows.
- Automate routine tasks and contribute to internal tooling.
- Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and release engineers across multiple teams.
- Learn and grow in a fast-paced, real-world DevOps environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related technical field, with active student status for at least the next 12 months.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Basic understanding of operating systems fundamentals and networking.
- Experience using Linux and/or MacOS systems (via command line).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Curiosity and willingness to learn.
Nice to have:
- General understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and/or infrastructure management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Understanding of containerization concepts and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
