The Account Executive will influence and advocate for Intel-based products and solutions through a vertically oriented, solutions-led approach to businesses and IT across Switzerland and Austria.
This role involves working with a select group of named accounts across multiple industries to drive transformational strategies and promote Intel architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain C-suite and senior executive relationships across enterprise customer teams in Switzerland and Austria, owning executive briefings and executive sponsorships.
- Collaborate with Intel resources and builder/partner sales teams to drive Intel-based product purchases for industry customers in the region.
- Own the business and technical relationships with all partners calling on enterprise customers-including original equipment manufacturers, cloud service providers, system integrators, and independent software vendors.
- Work closely with an ITS Industry Technical Sales specialist to address specific technical requirements and solutions for assigned accounts.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the customer's technology landscape and business environment to drive optimised digital transformation and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Advocate on behalf of the customer internally, ensuring all needs of assigned accounts are addressed.
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to identify growth opportunities through account planning and delivery execution.
- Strive to meet and exceed financial revenue and forecasting goals for assigned accounts by winning tenders and end-customer deals.
- Gather customer feedback from assigned accounts to understand the drivers of satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction.
- Determine the root cause for issues/risks and establish recovery action plans as needed to improve the customer's overall experience.
- Engage in hunting activities to identify and secure new business opportunities across multiple industries.
Note: This is a commissioned sales position.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales and business development, ideally within IT, cloud, or technology sectors.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and managing customer relationships.
- Skilled in account planning, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Experience working with enterprise clients across multiple industries.
- Fluent in German and English; additional language skills (e.g., French, Italian, Swiss German Dialects) are a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, international environment.

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
