We’re hiring for a Digital Client Partner as part of Carat in London.

Purpose of the Role

This role is part of the Integrated Digital Leadership team within Carat, responsible for best-in-class digital strategies and activation across an enviable client portfolio.

The role of Client Partner is designed to lead an account team of digital channel specialists to drive success of a multi-million x-channel digital performance programme on one of our most important clients, operating in hospitality sector. Success of this programme is a key strategic focus of our client and is critical to delivery of their commercial performance in EMEA.

This is a key role that brings together our client, dentsu specialist teams as well as key media partners to orchestrate a sophisticated programme that leverages the latest in digital media innovations to deliver growth against ambitious targets. Working closely with the broader account leadership team and strategy, this role will drive media strategy of the programme and proactively identify opportunities to improve its performance on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead successful activation of a strategically important, multimillion x-channel performance programme for our client.
  • Collaborate with and lead a team of best-in-class digital media specialists across multiple disciplines to collectively deliver on ambitious targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, serving as their primary agency contact for performance programme. 
  • Co-design forward facing strategy for the programme, continuously looking for opportunities and solutions that generate growth and efficiency.
  • Work closely with our media partners to ensure the programme benefits from adoption of the most innovative solutions and access to value ad resources.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve the way in which the programme operates and proactively design solutions and ways of working that drive its efficiency.
  • Proactively identify and put forward value additive solutions from dentsu suite of products to client. Own commercial management of these.
  • Take ownership and drive forward departmental initiatives and thought leadership at Carat, ensuring a positive impact on wider business.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Strong experience of management of x-channel digital first performance media programme across PPC, PSM, Programmatic; in channel experience an advantage.
  • Comfortable steering discussions on relevant topics within the media industry, including but not limited to cross-channel measurement and attribution, digital maturity, use of data within media and marketing technology set up.
  • Well versed in commercially led media activation programmes, which deliver base performance and which flex to respond to real business signals.
  • Practical, able to spot opportunities for driving operational efficiency and to proactively implement solutions to improve ways of working.
  • Strong communications and relationship skills and evidence of coordinating x-discipline teams and deliver on one team ambition for our client.
  • Strategically astute, able to identify and recommend value additive solutions from dentsu to improve overall programme performance and drive innovation; able to pull out insights across channel datasets and highlight key takeaways and recommended actions for senior stakeholders
