Job Description

We are currently seeking a Direct Sales Coordinator - Television to join the market leading Direct Sales Team within the Brisbane office.  

Our Direct Sales Coordinators - Television are natural organisers who underpin a team of high functioning Direct Sales Executives with first class internal support. Reporting to the Group Business Director, your primary focus will be to service the administrative needs of the team, whilst ensuring the delivery of superior operational service in a timely manner.    

Day to day you will: 

  • Manage a pipeline of sales support within the internal booking system with a high degree of attention to detail & punctuality
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across several internal departments 
  • Initiate and nurture relationships with all clients  
  • Work closely with the Sales Executives to create and deliver market leading responses and solutions for clients 
  • Proactively identify opportunities for revenue growth 
  • This important role is the ideal entry level opportunity into Television media sales. To be considered for this position, first and foremost, you will need to love Nine! You will be a regular viewer of Nine's free to air programming and a subscriber to 9Now. 

Qualifications

Experience is preferred, but not essential. You will enjoy working within a close-knit, high performing team. You will quickly become a critical support role – aiding a team of sales professionals as they generate proposals, negotiate bookings, deliver effective campaigns and then report on the success.

You will need to be able to demonstrate your high level of competence as follows:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Professional personal presentation 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient experience with PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Prior experience and a strong level of understanding of a business’s internal software systems (for example, Salesforce, Google suite incl Gmail etc).
  • Ability to operate collaboratively as part of a team, or autonomously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, dynamic environment.

The successful applicants will receive a generous salary and an opportunity to earn commission, based on the success of the team’s performance. Your Group Business Director will work on a bespoke development plan with you, to upskill you and prepare you for career progression within the company.
