Backed by marquee investors, it leads India’s gaming revolution. The Director of Brand Marketing will oversee Brand Management, Communication Development, and consumer understanding. This leadership role involves managing marketing investments, partnering with business teams for growth, and leading a team of 18 managers. It demands innovative thinking, multi-priority juggling, and a creative, energetic leadership approach.
Must have:
  • Drive consumer insights, competitive analysis, brand positioning, campaign launches and marketing strategy.
  • Conduct market and gap analyses while monitoring competitive activity to ensure competitive advantage and facilitate new brand opportunities.
  • Be the brand custodian and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms (in sync with the brand).
  • Translate business goals and market insights into effective marketing strategies and campaigns that deliver measurable impact.
  • Drive a differentiated content strategy across platforms.
  • Work with creative, media, social, and research agencies for implementation of marketing plan.
  • Work with product team to provide consumer insights & help develop marketable product features that can drive growth.
  • Strategic Thinking and Planning - Should have the ability to ‘think deep and think wide’.
  • Customer First thinking.
  • Excellent ability to mine and interpret data to drive well informed strategies.
  • Competitive analysis & Proposition Development.
  • Experience in crafting marketing campaigns that drive awareness and build consideration and preference for the brand.
  • Experience in handling brand budget and a very good understanding of media planning across ATL, digital and OOH.
  • Deep knowledge in performance marketing funnel.
  • Good knowledge about customer retention and retention led marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in leveraging social media platforms for brand growth.
  • Strong and inspiring Leadership.

  • 10-12 years of work experience working in a Brand role.

  • Strong understanding of the Digital Marketing ecosystem & skillsets for the same.
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong stakeholder and team management skills.
Good to have:
  • Experience of working in an internet D2C company is preferred

Who are we looking for?

Position Title: Director- Brand Marketing(RummyCircle)

Role Summary

The Director of Brand Marketing will have overall responsibility of Brand Management (positioning, brand architecture, market expansion, market penetration, etc.), Communication Development and building deep consumer understanding for the org. This role comes with the accountability of managing marketing investments on the brand side as well as partnering with the business team in growing and expanding the business/brand. This is a leadership role with 18 Brand, Media, Creative Designers, Insights managers reporting into the candidate.

This highly empowered role demands innovative thinking, juggling multiple priorities and a creative and energetic approach to leadership.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive consumer insights, competitive analysis, brand positioning, campaign launches and marketing strategy
  • Conduct market and gap analyses while monitoring competitive activity to ensure competitive advantage and facilitate the realization of new brand opportunities
  • Be the brand custodian and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms (in sync with the brand)
  • Translate business goals and market insights into effective marketing strategies and campaigns that deliver measurable impact on both brand (Awareness/Consideration scores) and business objectives (grow top & bottom of the funnel, i.e. ensuring funnel improvements)
  • Drive a differentiated content strategy across platforms
  • Work with partners like creative agency, media agency, social agency and research agency for implementation of marketing plan
  • Work with product team to provide consumer insights & help develop marketable product features that can drive growth
